Reality Cares

Check out how Reality Church is continuing to break down barriers between people and Jesus during this trying time.

Have a need?

Do you have a specific need that Reality Church can help with? We are a church full of people who want to help. Please don’t be afraid to ask!

Church services

Our church services will be entirely online through April 5 at least. We're hoping to do something fun and unique for Easter Sunday (April 12th). We will update this plan as we continue to assess our options. Join us on Facebook Live on Sunday morning at 10:00am.

All on-site and off-site events will be either cancelled or postponed through the month of April. Events after April will continue to be evaluated.

Specific Ministries

Reality Kids

Until we can meet “IRL” Reality Kids families will receive a weekly email with a link to the large group teaching video as well as a Parent Que that can help you understand and discuss the lesson with your kids.  In addition to those weekly resources we want you to know that we are here for you. If you have a need we want to know about it. Send us an email, give us a call, or set up a video chat. Nothing you are facing has to be fought alone!

Student Ministry

Over the next several weeks we will be posting our messages on YouTube and doing small groups through Google Hangouts. Stay plugged in with us through our youtube channel, Instagram (@realitystudents), and Email.

Life Groups

We love the way Life Groups are finding ways to care for people as we honor our government’s guidelines.  Some groups have already moved to meeting electronically over Google Hangouts, Zoom Meeting, and Skype as a way to keep connecting.  You’ll keep getting the weekly discussion guides, and as we hear creative ideas to care for each other and our community, we’ll share them!

We are modeling what it means to be a Christ follower

As followers of Jesus Christ our eternity is set, and we have the opportunity in this hour to lean into the peace of Jesus, walk without fear, and give hope, love and care to a scared and hurting world. All throughout history Christians have responded to pain with compassion and holiness. We have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to do the same.

We are being smart about all of this

We as the church leadership are leaning into the policies and precautions advised by both our city and our nation.  We are in communication with city officials and want to come under the authority in what they are (or may) ask us to do in order to keep our people and our community safe.

We are taking precautions

We are putting in place precautions against the spread of the virus until further notice.
These include:
  • Additional cleaning on specifically vulnerable spaces such as door-handles, light switches, and our coffee area.
  • Greeters will hold the doors open for you, and will not make physical contact with you (no shaking hands, hugging etc.)
  • A volunteer will check-in your kids at the check-in stations. You will no longer need to touch the computer screens.

We are proceeding cautiously

For now, we are still having service on Sunday. However, if you are at high risk or are not feeling well, please stay home. As always, we will be live streaming our 10:00 AM service and we are encouraging Life Groups to gather together if everyone is feeling well. Of course, these policies may change with our circumstances and the cities recommendations. Please keep an eye on your inbox or our social media accounts for any updates. Join us in praying for our community and all those affected by the coronavirus.
